TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Chapter One: Legal Statements

  1. Dear Customers, please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By using our site: http://www.tarantulasbristol.co.uk/ and ordering goods from our shop you agree to Terms & Conditions as shown below and to be bound by them.

  2. All of Terms & Conditions have been put in place to protect the interests of our Customers and provide the best service possible. Terms & conditions are designed to be fair and clear to both us and our Customers.

  3. We reserve the right to modify Terms & Conditions at any time and in any way. Please check the date above.

  4. Terms & Conditions are subject to Common Law (English Law) and the proper jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

  5. We try to guarantee your total satisfaction. This does not affect your statutory right as
    a consumer.

  6. You must be 18+ years old and have a verified PayPal account or a valid credit card with full authority to use it, to submit an order through our site: http://www.tarantulasbristol.co.uk/

  7. You agree not to use our site: http://www.tarantulasbristol.co.uk/ and any content contained therein for any illegal or inappropriate activities.

  8. We never sell or help to obtain any species listed in the Regulation (EC) No 338/97 App.
    A & B exclusions apply to the captive bred certified animals.

  9. We strongly believe in animals rights, i.e. freedom of animals from cruelty.

  10. We shall not be liable to any Customer or Person or Organization for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on our site: http://www.tarantulasbristol.co.uk/ In the event of a product being listed with incorrect information or at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for goods listed.

  11. Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in our Terms & Conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any of our employees or fraud. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Common Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Chapter Two: How to order

  1. All our prices are negotiable. We reserve the right to modify our prices presented on our site: http://www.tarantulasbristol.co.uk/ at any time and in any way.

  2. Our site: http://www.tarantulasbristol.co.uk/ contains a wide range of: various live tarantulas, various live scorpions, livefood for animals and equipment for animals.

  3. Dear Customer You can find selection of our goods under ”ANIMALS and GOODS” button then under the ”SCORPIONS”, ”TARANTULAS”, ”LIVEFOOD” and ”EQUIPMENT” buttons. You can examine the photos, names, prices and the info about animals and goods there. Once you have found the product you need just:

    +44 07857106221 (8am-7pm Monday to Saturday / 10am-4pm Sunday) in case of collection in person.

  5. Please remember that images are for illustration purposes only, animals or products may vary.

  6. When you place an order with us, you make an offer to buy goods. We will always send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order so remember to always leave you e-mail address or your phone number.. In the rare event that the goods or animals are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will inform you on this at once.

  7. Don't forget to check our ”SPECIAL OFFERS” and ”NEWSLETTER” for hot news.

Chapter Three: Payment

  1. All payments are in advance.

  2. Dear Customer, once you have decided what you want to buy, you can pay:

  3. through the PayPal (which accept all the major credit and debit cards i.e. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, Solo),

  4. in cash in case of collection by hand,

  5. with any valid major credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, Solo.

  6. Please remember that our displayed prices do not include postage & packaging if necessary.

  7. Some of our goods may include VAT (value-added tax charged on most goods and services within the EU) in the displayed price.

  8. As a Customer of our shop you can be rest assured that your transaction will be covered by multiple security features and encryption.

  9. You will always be provided with a receipt or invoice of your order which you should retain for your records. We will send you an order confirmation e-mail including delivery-arrival information.

Chapter Four: Delivery

  •  We ship worldwide.

 

  1. We currently use the following carriers to deliver: Royal Mail (Royal Mail Holdings plc).

  2. We cannot be held liable for actions of the carrier. In case of delivery damaged call us on:
    +44 07857106221 immediately.

  3. No Party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as
    a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service, and no other Party will have a right to terminate this Agreement in such circumstances.

  4. All orders received will be processed on the following working day. Our working days are Monday to Thursday. We do not deliver or process orders on bank weekends or holidays. Delivery days exclude weekends and bank holidays.

  5. Please be advised that we add the postage & packaging (according to the actual price list of the used carrier) to your final order.

Chapter Five: Returns & Refunds Policy

  1. Goods can be returned up to 7[seven] working days from date of delivery or collection by hand for a full refund or exchange, however, living animals can be returned up to 2[two] working days from date of delivery or collection by hand.

  2. We guarantee live arrival of an ordered animal. We must be notified of any death on arrival (very rare!) cases immediately, i.e. within 24hours. Please email us: office@tarantulasbristol.co.uk enclosing a color photo of any death on arrival to claim
    a refund. We do not hesitate to send a replacement animal or to refund.

  3. We are unable to accept part used returns of food, livefood, other perishable goods, engraved ID tags, damaged products, unless delivered damaged.

  4. Dear Customer, you are responsible for the cost of returning the product back to us, unless they arrive damaged, faulty or not compliant with your order.

  5. The returned product must be in its original packaging, unopened and in re-saleable condition and the cost of collection or return will remain at your charge. We only accept returns for products that have been purchased through us.

  6. If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense (see: Chapter Two). You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods, so please take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the animals (especially them!) or goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the loss or the reduction in value.

  7. Our Returns & Refunds Policy does not affect your statutory rights. Any refunds will be made within 30[thirty] days from notification to us and in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. You are entitled to cancel any payment at any time where fraudulent use has been made of your credit or debit card by another person not acting on behalf of you or as your agent and to be re-credited by us to the extent that such sums are not reimbursed by the card issuer in such circumstances.

  8. If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order immediately and receive a full refund if you would rather not wait for the order to be fulfilled within 30[thirty] days.

  9. If you have the product for more than 7[seven] days or an animal for more than 2[two] days you will be liable for the cost of returning the product back for inspection.

Chapter Six: Guarantees

  1. Dear Customer, please remember that all animals must be properly cared for throughout their natural lives. To avoid possible health problems feed your tarantula or scorpion with our recommended food.

  2. All products sold on http://www.tarantulasbristol.co.uk/ are not sick, ill, injured, near-death, suffering from any visible deformity, short dated, sub standard goods ever. We guarantee that any animal or product bought from us comes not only at bargain prices but also with a 100% satisfaction guarantee of fair and clear Returns & Refunds described in Chapter Five.

  3. In case of health problems with an animal bought from us please e-mail us:

  4. We do not pay vet's fees except by prior written agreement with us.

  5. In case of problems with other products bought from us please refer to the proper manufacturer warranty.

  6. We reserve the right to withdraw the relevant guarantee if we feel that the animal has not been cared for in the appropriate manner or injured through lack of a simple common sense.

  7. Any complaints will always be dealt with and acknowledged within 3[three] working days. All complaints are handled fairly, confidentially and effectively within 30[thirty] days. Any complaints can be submitted using:
